Spring Mud

As spring arrives our driveway becomes a mixture of ice, puddles, and mud.  The gravel roads also become soft and ruts develop, which in turn become deep puddles and parts of the roads become semi-liquified as the frost thaws.
Just now it is probably the worst period for all that and when you get home after driving to town the car is splashed with mud. As you can see this is at door handle level. I leave how it looks down low, nearer the road, to your imagination!
Drove down to Sundsvall today and got my own personal ECG fitted. I have to walk around (and sleep) with this on for 24 hours. It's a bit itchy but otherwise OK. We shall see what the doctors make of my uneven heartbeat, which fortunately gives me very few problems.
