Life through my eyes

A very nervous wait this morning to go to see the consultant for the MRI results.  Much to his surprise there was "no need for him to cut holes in me"!

As the dye injection had been problematic the scan wasn't completely definitive, but the main thing was the tendons and muscles were strained rather than torn.  I had the option of having a cortisone injection then or waiting.  As I am fed up with the limitations I opted to have it done, so a quick call to the insurance company for approval and then back in to have it done.  It wasn't very painful thanks to the local  anaesthetic, but once that wears off I am told to expect it to be painful for 2-3 days.  Fingers crossed this works.  Apparently I also have osteoarthritis in the AC joint, so I will have to ask the physio next Thursday.  I am so relieved!  I really hope now that I can get my life back to normal in the next few weeks.

I had been so apprehensive this morning I hadn't put much thought into a Blip so this is an emergency doorstop Blip!

Thanks to Biker Bear for hosting Flower Friday.
