If you have keen eyes, you'll be wondering where this photo was taken: the tractor's still registered in the UK.
Christopher is a farmer in Bedfordshire and, believe it or not, we had never met him in the nine years we've owned the house, although he's owned his for close to twenty!
There's a logic to it: being a farmer, he can never come here over the summer - which is when we've mostly been here since we bought the house...
I was looking for someone to take care of our overgrown meadow as the guy who used to do it has moved a few kilometres away and is not interested anymore... When I saw that Christopher was doing his fields, I asked him if he would mind having a go at our land. He agreed - and it only cost us a beer!
Also, I have a date to see the neurosurgeon following the MRI of last week. It's not too far: I'll go back to Paris on 4 May.
