Anyone for cricket?

A white willow (I think) enjoying the mini-heatwave aka spring. Lovely to see the buds finally opening up. According to the Woodland Trust cricket bat willow is a hybrid of the white willow and crack willow. The extra shows some other signs of spring along the river. All the better for the long wait.

A domestic day for me before we head up to Perth tonight to see Karine Polwart - always a treat. Cameraman has kindly offered to drive so that we don’t have to suffer the last train home.
