An Avid Lensman

By SarumStroller

Dark evenings are now among us

Missed the patchy sunshine that occasionally glowed, but with sunset now before the shops close (clocks went back yesterday), there's good contrast between the mauves and golds, between old local names and global mega-giants. This is frontage of most pf the shops, pubs and restaurants along Salisbury's Market Square, with the Guildhall in the background (& left hand window)

My old and heavy manual focus Nikkor 135mm f2, on DX D7000, becoming 202mm I handheld and quite a lot of overexposure, from the metered figure, no doubt due to the bright orange lamp.

No cropping, or removal of anything that might look out of place but still quite a lot of shadow extraction to even out the big variation in light intensities.
