A Day of Two Halves

Weather wise. It was actually really nice this morning, still nippy but there were blue skies and white clouds. I had two lots of washing on the line by 11 and then headed to the doctor's to pick up my meds wearing my shades.

On the way back though, the clouds started darkening and by the time I had got home, the sky wasn't as pretty and sure enough, the heavens opened and that's how it's stayed for the rest of the day.

Littlest monkey slept late, much as she enjoyed the trip, she is super pleased to be home & able to sleep in her own bed. She was asking lots of questions about hurricanes and the weather in general as Hurricane Sandy has been the new topic of the day with good reason, so we are going to watch Twister tonight :D
