Mud: A First Encounter

It was good to spend some time with a fellow photographer today, sharing stories and experiences. I found myself energised as a result. It was something I needed. The forecast summer weather arrived in the afternoon to leave a beautiful evening, which I couldn't really enjoy because of the need to attend a meeting with my fellow residents in the house where I live. What sort of planning was that?

It's always fun to see the fine weather drawing people out on the moor, especially when it's folk who don't normally venture so far. This looked like the first encounter with peat for a few of this party. The paths are drying out but there are still some very wet patches left to negotiate and challenge those who are looking to keep their fancy trainers clean!
