Resting Bee-Fly

Something other than flowers, but I'm still pretty much housebound (and getting under foot). 

The garden is again home, with splendid sunshine and the gurgle of the pond waterfall, the croak of the ever hopeful frog and the tender ministrations of Janet who, having finished the bedroom has begun poking at both kitchen and utility room and also painting the garden shed...

This Bee-Fly was resting on a propagator box lid - not the most picturesque prop it could have chosen, but since I don't think I've seen one in the real before, click click.
