Sucking a Lemon

Amongst other things, I preserved some lemons in salt - thanks to Meancoast writing about preserved lemons in a blip the other day, and then kindly sending me a link to a recipe. I took the photo outdoors as I had taken the Kilner jars outside to show C who was busy gardening. 
First of all, buy the lemons. A customer at the market stall where I bought them first thing this morning, wanted to know what I was going to do with them all. I think he's going to try preserving some now as well.
