blazing hot...

is it April or August?!  Another scorching day and a day of hiding out in shade as much as possible! But an early start as we had new fence panels put in first thing this morning! I was fearing the worst for some of my rather well stocked borders, but the 2 blokes were very considerate and seemed to tread carefully as they worked!

So no more holes in the fence! We normally paint the fence panels green so that they blend in but will leave them this colour for now and hopefully the plants will do the covering for a while! Tulips seem to approve!
