Autumnal light

I walked through the woods with Jakey this autumnal morning.

At first I thought it was mild but after being out a while I changed by opinion on that and decided it was not mild, but in fact cold.

And why did I walk Jakey around the woods?
Well, he needed to perform his morning ritual and I didn't want him investigating the building work that is going on at our neighbours house, so I accompanied him on his walk and made sure he came back in again without getting curious about things he hadn't seen before, like cement mixers and builders vans!

Jakey is so nosey and will walk into someone else's house at the drop of a hat. And as my neighbours are having work done upstairs on the chimney breast, I did not want Jakey inspecting it and ending up somewhere he shouldn't.

I am waiting for the builders to finish for the day so I can let Jakey out again.
Come on you lot, hurry up, my cat wants to play out!!
