Bronze bracken

The Cornish hedgerows in autumn are just as colourful and vibrant as they are in spring and summer. On our walk around the lanes this afternoon we saw garlands of yellow, orange and red briony, jewel-like rosehips, flowering ivy, ferns ... and bracken, losing its youthful green, revealing its bronze gilding.
