Birch Wood

The glade in my local woods was looking lovely in the late afternoon sun today. It was so hot I could not face a walk until about 5 o clock.    Son M on the other hand back from 6m in Tasmania and a week in very hot Thailand on the way home, was rejoicing in it  being so cool.
