Blooming lovely!

A much-later-than-intended start to the day (mostly due to the fact that MrM was suffering from backache last night, so neither of us slept very well), but we eventually got going with the help of strong, black coffee! 

Mostly admin stuff for me today, but I did delve in to the hall cupboard and dig out my tool sewing box with a view to altering a couple of items of clothing. And I shall attempt to mend the two large holes in MrM's (unworn!) jumper though, given the size of them, they're unlikely to be invisible repairs.

It's been a lovely warm, sunny day, and some of the plants in the 'yard, especially the clematis, seem to be having a late-Spring growth spurt! The buds on the pansies in the window box on the workshop have suddenly burst open.

MrM has gone off with a friend to a music session in Alnwick this evening. Now, where's that sewing box?
