Smiling Spirits

A glorious sunny day for Andy's birthday.  Lots going on with his Mum back in hospital having broken her arm in the care home (!), her cat to look after, his son to encourage to stay at college, a puppy and various other things including a neighbour who has planted 200 fast growing conifers to form a hedge which will obliterate our view across the countryside.  We think it is against planning consent for the site (we shall see).  The bat boxes that the developer was supposed to put up on the site do not seem to have been installed so we are trying to get those put up too.  Despite all the things going on at home and all the woes in the world, I look at this blue sky and blossom and things all feel a lot better.  I hope you too have had something to keep your spirts smiling today.
