Yes, my birthday.

D managed to sneak a day off, and we went to Augsburg to see the Fuggerei. Fascinating. A social housing project begun in 1521, and still functioning today.

Destroyed by bombing in WWII, and rebuilt afterwards.

It was also my first white birthday. Not that much to be seen in the Blip, but there was more in Augsburg than in Gaimersheim.

May also have been my first breakfast with Champagne and caviar.
