View from The View

I was in a team at the Mayor's Quiz this evening. We were winning until the last round (on music), then came second. It was a difficult round including identifying the track and artist from a line of lyrics, and pinpointing dates such as the date of David Cassidy's death, and we didn't do so well! None of us won a raffle prize either! 

However about £300 was raised for the Seaford Lifeguards who do a great job here. They are vital as the beach shelves away steeply into deep water, off-shore winds are common and people from out of town come to enjoy the beach.
