Time for a chat

This sunny seat opposite the shops in the village is a good place to sit and watch the world go by and chat to a friend. This is probably the first time this year that it has been warm enough for these two to sit outside.
I had my eyes tested this morning, for a new prescription after my recent cataract operation. I shall be so relieved to get new glasses because at the moment my old pair are not really serving their purpose. As advised, I took the lens out of the operated side. The old lens meanwhile is still varifocal and still reacts to sunlight. I look most odd with one side dark and the other with no lens! Good news, she recommended that the second eye should be done. Excellent!
