Paw!

As a puppy, I tried teaching Corra 'paw'. She is super smart, but for whatever reason, paw just never clicked with her. Maybe because her legs are so short, she was just so much less likely to lift her paw or put it on me. Loki on the other hand offered this behavior naturally, especially if you scritch his chest while he's sitting, so it was very easy to capture. Yesterday I took some time trying to teach Corra again. I'd switch between asking her for paw, touching her foot and waiting a second. When she didn't get it, I'd ask Loki and he'd (enthusiastically) slap his paw down and get a treat. Corra ended up figuring it out after like 2-3 repetitions of this. Yay!
