Budapest - The Lighter Side

After yesterday's 'Darker Side' blip, here's one with the promise of hope, depending on your religious views. St. Istvan's Cathedral has 'Ego Sum Via Veritas et Vita' (I am the way, the truth, and the life) from John 14:6, in large letters above its portico.

We had a lovely day exploring parts of the city that were new to us before lunch at Pozsonyi Etterem in the street of the same name, more strolling past antique shops which resulted in two additions to our collection of Hungarian Zolnay figurines, and a walk by the Danube before dinner at Millenium Da Pippo where the owner had placed a bouquet of flowers on our table (we reserved on Saturday)!
