life goes on

The Acer never fails to raise the spirits, especially in the early morning light.

Thank you everyone for your comments/good wishes/stars and so on.  It’s been a hard few days.  

Anniemay is still in Manchester - she and her sisters have to clear Ma-in-Law’s flat by the end of the week or the housing association start charging rent.  

She’s hoping to be back home by the weekend which gives me time to try and cut the lawn.  That will be a mammoth job.  It’s so long that you could probably hide a mammoth in it.
