At Sea

At sea today and a lovely day doing nothing!
We had our pre-breakfast breakfast delivered to the room. Fruit platter and tea for one of us and a full English plus toast, pastries and hot chocolate for the greedy Mr K other. 
After our actual breakfast (ham and mushroom omelette with tomatoes on rye toast and a sausage for me; eggs Benedict and sausages for greedy Mr K!!) we went to an interesting talk by Derek Tedder about what goes on behind the scenes in a broadcast newsroom. He’s worked for the BBC and Sky and was full of interesting facts and anecdotes and hilarious clips showing what happens when it all goes wrong!
The rest of the day passed in a haze of eating, cocktail drinking, lounging on deck in the glorious sunshine (eating and drinking), reading, eating, dressing for dinner, eating, cocktail drinking and collapsing into bed. Bliss!!!
