Coming in

Old white cow surprised husband by calving this afternoon. He was expecting one of the others to calve!! She always has to come in once calved as her teats are so big. So we brought them both in and helped the calf take its first sook of colostrum. A quiet day in the lambing fields although still new lambs coming.

Spent most of the day beginning to pack up books, ornaments and dvds from the sitting room. 5 weeks until the house stuff moves. Mildly panicking...
