Another Prize.

This lovely book of poetry arrived yesterday.  Another of Alexandra's prizes.

Then later today another prize arrived, a big box of baby products.

Alexandra came over today, to give me a hand to sort out Christian's room.  I've decided it's time to get rid of some of his stuff.

We were going okay, when we realized that Mia didn't have her favourite teddy.  We couldn't find it anywhere in the house or the car.  So we raced over to the baby store where Alexandra had been shopping.  Still nothing.

Another look around the house, then back to the store.  Back home, we started pulling apart all the bags that we had started packing.  And suddenly we found it.

Great relief all-round as this is her favourite toy.

Strangely enough,  I lost Christian's favourite toy once.  My mother and I raced back into Winchester to try and find it.  But it was nowhere to be found. 

It was a little knitted lamb.  My Mum made him another one, but he never took to it.

Funny that this happened when we were clearing his room out.  Perhaps he was reminding me.

A stressful day for all of us.
