back in marseille

We left Les Pilles at 8am to get to Luynes on time for the funeral of Stefanie’s grandmother :( It was very sad. Stef was practically raised by her grandmother, so she found it very hard.

We all went back to Matthieu’s house after the funeral for some lunch and to spend time together as a family.

Pierre, Marius, and I left at around 5pm as we had to call at Laura and Mamie’s to pick up the travel cot and then call at Ben’s to pick up the key to Michelle’s house. We’re staying at her house at the Pointe Rouge for a few days. Marius was really pleased to see Tatie Laura again and she even showed him how to play the bongos!

Marius is still under the weather; temperature and coughing lots :(
