Re-entry

Fragile. That’s definitely the word of today following the last four days.

This is the symbol of Remembering Srebrenica - bought from Fadila Efendic, one of the Mothers of Srebrenica at the Cemetery at Potočari. She runs a tiny shop across the road - where the recovered remains of her husband and son, killed in the genocide, lie.

Re-entry has been tough. Thankful for wonderful friends, colleagues and my darling OH, who ensured there was a plentiful supply of consoling cheesecake available at all times.
