'Warm Spring Evening'

What a beautiful day it's been today, nice and warm and sunny.

Went out before breakfast again this morning as I spotted a whole herd of kangas out the back blocks, took quite a few shots, but the sun setting tonight was giving us some great natural lighting to utilise again so out I went after picking up the kids and getting home tonight.

The long Spring grasses were just glowing in the late, low sun and I had to capture them again. Sorry if my shots are repetitive, but it's all good practice for me.

I have tried shooting the sunset through the trees, but I always seem to loose the beautiful orange and red colours, I think I need to read up about these and any advice will be welcomed.

On another note, as we arrived home tonight there was an awful smell in the kitchen, so I went hunting and moved the fridge out of it's recess and found a family of mice had made a nest in the back of our fridge, they had even stolen about 4 or 5 of the kids socks from the laundry, a piece os D's rope he uses for his magic tricks and some tissues from who knows where and made quite a comfy home. We've placed all 5 of them into a big rat trap and tomorrow they can go to school with D to show the other kids before being let go somewhere out in the bushland no where near home.
