Toasty

We have settled in well to the wee cottage on the Island. I like my colleague, thank heavens he's quite tidy!
Today we had a call from the guy who installed the woodburning stove to ask how it was running. Of course, we hadn't lit it once, so tonight was the inauguration.
Just as well it was a horrible cold night with easterlies again. The wee stove did an admirable job of powering the radiators and hot water, but I hope it's going to be such a glorious summer that we don't need to fire it up too often!
