Plunge

Out just after 8 for 60km on the bike. This is the plateau after climbing up from Uga. The village in the distance is Femes - crest that and it's straight down a ridiculously steep and tight hairpin before the plunge down the mountain. You could absolutely hurtle it if it wasn't for the roundabout halfway down, and the fact that it's a left turn there as well. Not for the faint-hearted, I erred on the side of caution I have to say!

The rest of the day was spent lazing around the villa and then out to the rather good neighbourhood Italian in the evening.
