Holton Lee, Livability, Poole

Hooray for the sunshine today! We went on the Bird Walk at a place I'd never heard of before- a nature reserve by Poole Harbour with the possibility of osprey ( we didn't see them today ). It now belongs to an organisation called Livability which helps people with spinal injuries or other issues - there are organic gardens where people with mental health issues can work as therapy .This carriage is part of a riding for disabled scheme which is in the grounds- brilliant to see it with the mobility scooters whizzing along. There was much more to see - bird hides and an Iron Age hut. I think Bob the Birder is planning another visit.
We saw a first bluebell just coming out and there were stitchworts and ground- ivy, a pretty little flower deserving of a much better name.
