Nut-tree tussock

This hairy little beauty came to my trap last night, the beginning of a new wave of later spring moths - I hope! Things have been so slow this year thus far.
The Nut-tree tussock Colocasia coryli, is fairly common in the south (I catch it every year) where it is double brooded, on the wing from April to June and again from July to September. The larvae feed on various trees including my silver birch!
