Wading

I went for a run and spotted this heron fixated on something beyond those railings.
After a shower and a refreshing cup of tea, I headed out with my camera to see if I could find it again. There it was, exactly where I last saw it. 
I've no idea what had its eye (see extra) but I really wish it didn't have to wade through garbage to get to it.
