First Violet 2018!

After a bit of an April Shower I noticed this wild Violet (Viola odorata)

 peeping through my gravel path. Although the leaves seem to be struggling the bloom is as bright as it can be. Just had to be blipped  -  of course, I've got sore knees now, but it was worth the effort.  It is considerably later than last year  -  see my blip for 29th March 2017 HERE!
