Blowing Rocks Preserve beach

Husband D (in photo) and I decided to drive up to Jupiter early this morning. Hurricane Sandy, that passed by us out to sea Friday and Saturday, was still causing large waves, and the high tide would be about 8:15 AM. Blowing Rocks is in the only area in Florida with a limestone shelf that runs along the shoreline, and when storm waves or high winds force the water against the rock, or through the holes in the stone, high plumes of water are created. This was taken after the tide had gone down somewhat and most of the rock areas were visible. It was great- we were glad that we went. Just seeing one quick shot doesn't do the whole experience justice. And I took WAY too many photos!
(I have several back blips to catch up on)
