Redbuds

The redbuds have really popped... this is a very old tree. Usually I see them in the forest like purple dots scattered thru-out.

Scary night last night .. a tornado hit our town. The boy was at a friends house and had just txted to be picked up when my husband said we needed to go to the basement. We had no damage but a swath just one mile away has many trees down. A friend lost three cars and has a gash in her house to the ground. And that part was not even where the tornado hit. That was about 10 miles away where the photos show houses razed. So thankful that we are all ok and that friends are not hurt.
