Hosta Quilt

A quiet wander down a cobbled brick path lined with hostas, woodland anemonies, lily of the valley and violets under the shade of some native trees found this delicate quilt of hosta leaves sprinkled with a fine coating of pollen and sealed with a little jewel.

At the end of this path is a Kowhai tree in flower, bright yellow flowers attracting the tiny waxeyes. I tried in manual to photograph them but alas they are far too fast and excited for me.
