Down town Orlando

The weather forecast was not great for today, with the clouds and rain worsening in the afternoon.

We made the most of the sun in the morning with a walk around the golf course and the leafy estate we are on. Saw a decent snake on the footpath but by the time I got my camera out it was long gone in the undergrowth. We did see some birds which were like mini vultures attacking some road kill which you can see in the extra.

After a swim and shower we headed to a huge shopping mall to get some things we needed and as the weather was now pouring it down it was a good way to burn some calories, well over 12,000 steps today.

Once the rain started to slow we headed towards Orlando Downtown which was rather nice and the old district as you can see in my main image was quite interesting.

A nice relaxing evening out at Olive Garden. First full day done.
