Ornamental Lamp, Bristo Square

Feel ok in the morning, so not to many juices. Did a bit of bike maintenance, then realised on bike still requires spaces for the disc brake to work properly. Order it off amazon so it comes tomorrow. Road bike needs quite a bit of cleaning after last week's ride.

In the afternoon, my partner and I go down to Newington. One of the usual charity shops is closed, and the others don't have anything of interest. We walk across to Forrest Rd to visit the two charity shops there, and get afternoon coffee.

On the way, we cross Bristo square, home to Edinburgh street skateboaders.The ornamental lamp, blip, has been done up and moved to the NE 'corner'. There are a few new additions to the Macewan Hall, but they are very understated.

Nothing of interest in the charity shops in Forrest Rd, but coffee is good. It is a lovely day, so we walk down to Tollcross, looking in the two charity shops located there just in case. Nothing, so we walk to Morningside. Lovely outside.
