Brodie Castle

I always seem to struggle with the clocks changing. Spent the morning a bit confused, and got hungry at 11.30. Didn't help that I didn't put my car clock back until this evening. Out to the garden centre early on, and then to Brodie Castle before lunch.

Went out with a Groupon voucher with Amy tonight. The restaurant had a special Sunday night menu on, but the 2 courses for £11 offer meant we still saved money. The chef came out to tell us that if he'd been told we were using a voucher, he'd have offered us the full menu, so instead we could have seconds from the carvery. Later, the waiter said that since the value of the voucher was less than the Sunday special, we could have pudding too! Bargain - three courses (plus seconds) for £8 each.

After dinner, I went to the loo, then Amy went to the loo, then a girl came into the restaurant and wandered through towards the toilets. Amy wondered why this girl used a different door to the one she had used earlier, and we realised it's because Amy had accidentally used the Gents! :)

40 minute diversion on the way home, after an accident closed the road near Bunchrew. No sign of the accident, but it seemed quite serious with three fire engines with lighting rigs shining onto the side of the road.
