I've been lucky enough to see the Solway bore tide the last two mornings.  Misty and her friend were paddling this morning when I heard the loud gushing noise and then saw the bore.  It wasn't coming in very fast and as the waves started to reach us I was fascinated by all the bubbles and popping noises which I've not heard before.  

I actually did some painting this afternoon, its only taken me two years to get around to it.  Might have something to do with a visitor coming to stay next month!
