I managed a walk with my niece and her boyfriend this morning before the drizzle started.

And then, for me, it was the drive back home.  It is not that far really if you take the most direct route, although the most direct route does involve one or two lanes which are single track with occasional passing places.  On the other hand, heading up to Chester and then taking the M56 is longer, faster and much less interesting.  You can guess which route I use.
