Ullswater

We drove up to Rheged first thing for the Knit and Stitch show.  I managed to buy a new cross stitch kit which I will be setting up after I blip.  Really good show with lots of interesting things to look at.

Having driven up on the motorway we returned home at a more leisurely pace through the lakes.  It was a bit grey but the rain held off until the top of the Kirkstone Pass (see extra).

Lunch at the Queens Head, Troutbeck was delicious.  The QH suffered a devastating fire several years ago but it has been rebuilt now and worth a visit.
