A Start!

A lovely sunny day so finally got round to planting some seeds. First to be started are the squash - 2 each of 12 different varieties, 8 different types of sweet peas and 15 mini sweetcorn! Decided against growing the big variety as the earwigs nibble the tops and the hens usually get them anyway! Think  a much warmer climate is needed to bring them on properly! So now the race is on to get the potato bed dug and planted and then the beds for the squash dug! It's going to be a whirl of activity - hence the swirl on the photo!
