Take your canoe with you

We had heavy rain, thunderstorms, and flooding last evening.    We did not get flooded, but there are many who did.   Closed highways, great cracks of thunder, brief electrical outages, and wind driven rain.   An unusually harsh storm.  The house on the corner had most of the rocks covering the strip between the road and the sidewalk blown and washed onto the roadway.
Late in the day, went to Sandy Beach to checkout the size of the puddles.  The three big ones that appear after heavy rains were there, topped up, and this series of little ones ringed the inner road.   Was looking at that ballooning cloud behind Koko Crater, but the rain it contained was light.  Liked the pop of colour on the roof rack, looks like it's resting on the plants.  More windy and rainy conditions are expected for at least a couple of days.
