Day out

Last night we had decided to go to Milford-on-Sea as the weather looked like it was going to be sunny. So got up this morning not very early. Had breakfast took dog for a quick walk as he was going to be in the car for a long time. So we set off at about 10.15. Sat nav said we would be the 12pm. As we got on the M3. Sat nav flashed up delays between J 9 and J 11 15 mins so we keep going then we got to the slow moving traffic. It took about 1/2 hour to get through. We got the Milford-on-Sea at 12.30. So it was straight to the cafe for lunch ( sausage egg and chips). After lunch we walked to hurst Castle and the lighthouse. Sat on the beach for about 3/4 hour then made our way back to the cafe for a cup of tea. When we arrived at the cafe it was closed so no tea. We sat on the beach again for a while then we went into Milford to get fish and chips. Sat on the beach eating fish and chip they were great. Got home about 7.45pm. Had a beautiful sunny day.
