A slow start; a little shopping and then the folks arrived at lunchtime and we went straight out on a bus into town; the plan to see if we could find some science festival action. I gave the option of Summerhall or the museum; the folks fancied the Brasserie at the musuem for lunch so that's where we went. 

By the time the coffee was drunk it was edging towards 3 so we wandered about the museum; the Art of Glass was good (cheer;s Magi for the tip) and then a poke and a prowl about until 5. 

A bus home, afternoon tea and then off they went. She arrived after work; lasagne for all and a quiet evening - mostly in the kitchen before some peace and quiet after the boys went to bed.
