Percy

I got a call from Judy this morning, she had been at a meeting in Lymm last night and was hoping to meet on her way back to The Lakes this morning. We met up at Bents for breakfast and it was lovely to see my cuz. 

I nipped to the bookies and put my bet on the Grand National...in vain....on the way home. I then made some cranberry and white chocolate chip shortbread....which I have to say is delicious.

The Coven were all busy today, which was very disappointing as we always watch the Grand National....it is traditional. I had to watch it on my own...and watch my money drip away towards the back of the field :(

I went to see Jude and we sat out in the sunshine. It was so lovely to have a glorious day at last. We then decided to pay a visit to Mary as she was feeling low and in pain. Her house is up Rivington Pike and the view in the late afternoon sun over Bolton was fabulous. Percy flew in and showed off his amazing colours, although he wasn't in the mood to open his tail up for me.
