Unhappy sparrow

You would be unhappy too if you had to forage for food with the rain beating down on your head. Nor was I very happy about trudging out in the rain to fill the feeders. Apparently I spilled some of the sunflower seeds on the ground where this little sparrow found them.

Two days of non-stop rain with the threat of a huge storm hanging over our heads, high wind warnings for tonight, and rain for the next four days or so. It looks as if we are making up for our very dry summer, all in one week.
