Peacock!

Grandpa treated us to a day out today (well, morning, the boys only really do morning's out because the youngest still very much needs his nap).

I was amazed at just how many animal names the eldest knew - including peacock (although there is a peacock on our daily routine of watching 'Tinga tales' together - which I love).  The eldest was quite excited about having Grandpa in the car with us and spent an awful lot of the afternoon telling me about his morning.

The boys had a great time, there was an old tractor for them to play on, which especially delighted the youngest -  I've got lots of pictures of that, but just loved this one of the peacock.  We saw Suffolk Punch horses, goats, sheep and lambs (plenty of them), pigs and piglets, ducks, rabbits, donkeys, ducklings, chickens... quite a selection.

We braved the 'soft play' area as well, which always fills me with a little bit of dread, although the eldest is quite happy to go off on his own these days, which makes life so much easier.  The youngest spent all the time on play tractors.  Neither were very happy when we called time and went for lunch - despite both being very much in need of food (and sleep).

Afternoon walk to make the most of our lovely sunny day and early bed for the boys.
