El Muelle

Our municipal pier sits at the west end of Playa Principal and overlooks the fishing fleet. Almost every time I ride my bike to town I spend a little time in the shade of the structures shown here at the end of the pier cooling off. These rest periods give me plenty of time to watch the activity: fishing boats coming and going from the beach, pangas ferrying customers and goods to Playa Las Gatas, and the occasional fishing or dive boat loading up with passengers. I'm still fascinated, even after eight years of living here, and continually marvel at our good fortune in finding a home in this beautiful area.
